Let your children have fun with art as they experiment and play with various art techniques and mediums! In this module, students will be introduced to the elements of art and principles of design through fun activities that emphasise on creative thinking. Your child will gain the confidence to express their thoughts through their drawings!
Let your children discover their inner artist in themselves through this course, as they learn the elements of art and principles of design and the technique of art mediums such as pencil, charcoal and acrylic paint. They will also learn representational and conceptual art making in this course.
Set in a studio space, your child will hone his or her artistic skill and personal style as he or she experiment with the more advanced techniques and mediums ranging from charcoal, to acrylic and Chinese ink. Students in this class will work towards a year-end public exhibition.
This studio practice course for youths allows them to acquire a deeper understanding of various art elements and principles, and learn to manipulate various art media for self-expression. They undergo the whole process involved in creating artworks: research, experimentation and exploration, idea development and personal reflection. They will also be given opportunities to visit galleries and display their works at an exhibition at The Arts House at the end of the course.
